Join us in raising money for the Heart of Madison foundation to benefit and bring meals to families in the cardiac unit of CHOA at the Nutcracker Tea. Geared for children age 2 to 10, guests will get to watch a preview of Nutcracker Suite, learn some dance moves, eat sweet treats, and take a photo with the cast. Audition for Avoda Dance Competition Team! The competition team is for dancers ages 5 and older and we have 5 different levels so that each dancer can be challenged and put onto a team where he or she can succeed and find confidence. Competition team dancers are required to compete in one competition each spring, but we give several other optional competitions that dancers can take advantage of each season. Dancers also get to attend dance conventions, where they can train with dancers from other studios and guest instructors. At the end of the season, the competition team also performs in an additional performance, our end-of-season showcase. Sign up here.

Audition for Avoda Pre Company! To audition for Pre Company, dancers must have at least 1 year of intermediate level ballet training. Pre Company dancers perform in Avoda’s 2 full length ballets each season, including Nutcracker, and receive extra training that prepares them for the Company level. This level is for the serious young dancer who wants to be on the track to Company. Sign up here.

Audition for Avoda Dance Company! To be eligible to audition, dancers must be able to do a single pirouette right and left from fourth position en pointe, ten releves en pointe, and pique turns en pointe. Company dancers perform in two full length ballets each year, including Nutcracker, and receive extra, more intense training each week. Dancers are also given the chance to perform in extra performance opportunities such as, Dance Athens, Brenau University’s Days of Dance, Ballet Fest, local festivals, including the Lilburn Christmas Tree Lighting, and more.
